The Los Moriscos Golf Course - Everything You Should Know!

The Los Moriscos Golf Course is an 18-hole course that sits right on the edge of the Mediterranean. It has spectacular views in all directions and is even backed by Granada’s soaring Sierra Nevada mountains.

The course is a walking course of medium difficulty. It’s just challenging enough to keep you entertained but not so much so that you can’t enjoy yourself. Over the last 15 years the course has undergone many new additions, mainly widening the fairways and creating new water and sand hazards throughout to increase its complexity.

Being situated in the sunny Costa Tropical where we enjoy 320 days of sunshine a year, the Los Moriscos golf course is the perfect way to spend the day outside enjoying the natural landscape. Most people choose to walk the course through its winding holes and fairways… but golf carts are now available.

The Los Moriscos Training Academy

The Los Moriscos Golf Club also offers training for those who want to learn how to play golf or those who already play but want to strengthen their game. The courses are designed and taught by an actual Spanish golf champion, Victor Casado.

There are several class options for you to choose from. You can sign up for a weekly course or they have short one hour or 30-minute classes for clients who want to:

• Learn new tips and tricks
• Help adapt your abilities to the right club for ultimate game performance

The Golf Shop

Right at the entrance to the Los Moriscos Club House you will find the golf shop which is fully stocked with all your golfing needs. Don't have your own clubs? Don't worry, you can get it all right here!

The Los Moriscos Club House

Los Moriscos is not just a golf course; it's a great place to get together with friends and be social. The Club House is a beautiful open-air building right on the beach with a fantastic bar area and two dining rooms.

The restaurant is well-known throughout the area as being one of the best. They use only the freshest ingredients and prepare wonderful upscale but traditional Spanish dishes.

Dinner on the terrace enjoying a colorful Spanish sunset is the perfect way to end a day of golfing...

Hoyo 19 (or The 19th Hole) - This is just a little chiringuito that sits right on Playa Granada, across from the Los Moriscos Golf Course. The food is basic, but they will bring food and drinks out to you on the beach...It has a VERY lively atmosphere and is a local favorite!

The Playa Granada Resort and Spa is THE BEST place to stay in Motril. It's great for adults and has a TON of things for the kids to do too!

The closest beaches to Los Moriscos are Playa Granada and Playa Poniente, Playa Granada being more popular and upscale. If you want to venture a little further out, check out the Almunecar Beaches, La Herradura Beaches and Salobrena Beaches.
