Playa Carabeillo
Playa Carabeillo! ➜ The quiet side of Playa Burriana!
Playa Carabeillo is a small cove on the western end of Playa Burriana, but it really is just a continuation of Playa Burriana. The large rocks, that jut out of the sea on one end, and the surrounding lush vegetation have created a very private natural cove... This is why Playa Carabeillo has been given its own beach designation.
If you are staying near Playa Burriana, Playa Carabeillo is a wonderful place to spend the day. Here you will find quiet nooks and crannies among the rocks where you can hide out from the masses. You will also have easier access to the town center via a staircase on the eastern side of the beach that leads to the busy 'Calle Carabeo'.

** Playa Carabeillo - Colorful Umbrellas on a White Sandy Beach & Cove
This tiny beach has 70-meters of smooth white sand, a gently inclined surf, crystal-clear water, small waves, and magnificent views of the Costa Tropical and Maro Nature Reserve in the distance.
On the western end of the beach, you will notice the remains of a seaside promenade that once reached Playa Carabeillo. Today, it is no longer in use but it is the hope of the town hall that it will be reconnected in the future.
